This is the latest version, (#9) of the Clarity Forums going back over more than 30 years. Membership and posting has waxed and waned through this cycle and more than once this site has been taken offline... though never for very long, and only because of moving and/or updates and/or modifications, always coming back better than ever... like now.
While there is more need at this point in time, and more than ever before, for a forum like this one, the quality, intelligence and abilities of the people at large make it less likely than ever to be used.
One thing can be said for certain is that once this version runs the cycle there will be no more, (and frankly, it is a wonder that this one made it to life; decades of momentum has carried the day.)
Having said that, it will live or die based on membership participation; it's up to you, the membership. Take advantage of it while it lasts.
One more thing, this version of the forum is cell-phone-friendly, (though why someone would want to use such a device to view a complex forum such as this is beyond me for you will not be able to see everything).
This latest rebirth of the forum is not limited to just itself; the entire Self Wrighting Network is new, from hardware to software and is far more sophisticated than it has ever been, moving up several levels.
I started planning the updates months in advance,(no other way to do it), to make sure nothing is lost and everything is improved.
I am planning to bring it back to the level of the glory days with respect to available servers. By this I mean that direct, real-time forms of communication will be added so direct-chat between members can happen in real time. If you like a particular form then post it here letting me know and I will add it to the list.
The E-mails servers are mostly working though this forum is not yet configured to send/receive E-mail, it will be available.
